Maitum and Kiamba Municipalities are still de energized due to the collapsed twenty 69kv poles yesterday morning because of strong winds and heavy rains.
The cooperative immediately responded and created a task force to rehab the said poles and extented its time up to night to conduct all the line survey and to possibly look for other cause of line trouble.
But despite of all the efforts, until now, Maitum and Kiamba still have no power. Task force is continously conducting pole rehab to the remaining collapsed poles in Lumatil, Maasim and Katubao, Kiamba which was located in the ricefields, cornfields and coconut farms that hinders our boomtrucks to pass and manually performs the erection and rehab of poles.
We are asking for the understanding of our MCOs under the affected areas for the inconvenience of this power interruption.
