As part of the 47th Parochial Fiesta celebration of Sto. Niño De Bula Parish, SOCOTECO II provided valuable assistance to nearly 500 patients during a medical mission held on January 12, 2025, at the Sto. Niño De Bula Parish, Brgy. Bula, GSC.
SOCOTECO II's generous contributions included the donation of essential medicines, snacks for the patients, and 200 pairs of reading glasses. This initiative aims to support the health and well-being of the community.
Key figures present at the event included the SOCOTECO II board of directors from the General Santos District, represented by Board of Director Peter Jayson Acharon and Leyne Alferez. Also in attendance were Atty. Cherry Ponce, Legal and Admin Manager, and Ms. Joy Celeste B. Alora, MPA, Institutional Services Department Manager.
Commodore Marfenio Tan, a prominent figure in the event, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to SOCOTECO II for its consistent support. "We are deeply thankful for SOCOTECO II’s unwavering assistance each year, providing medicines, doctors, reading glasses, and snacks for the health and comfort of our community," he said in his message.
The event was warmly received by the parish and community members, reflecting the spirit of unity and cooperation fostered by such partnerships during this significant religious occasion.
