SOCOTECO II recently conducted electric safety checks at two schools in Malungon, Sarangani, as part of the annual Brigada Eskwela - Electric Check initiative.

On November 11, the team inspected Balitangan Elementary School, followed by Colombio Integrated School on November 12, 2024.

SOCOTECO II linemen checked the schools' electrical wiring and replaced any unsafe connections to ensure the safety of the students and staff. The initiative aimed to eliminate potential electrical hazards and provide a safe learning environment for the children.

In addition to the safety checks, SOCOTECO II Malungon Director Evelyn Villarreal personally visited both schools to donate snacks and slippers to the students. The donations were warmly received, with students expressing their gratitude for the thoughtful gesture.

"This is our way of showing support for the students and ensuring that their learning environment is safe and comfortable," said Director Villarreal.
