In a bid to create a safer and more conducive learning environment, SOCOTECO II Malungon conducted a “Brigada Eskwela” and “Brigada Electric Check” activity today at Datal Batong Integrated School in Malungon, Sarangani Province. The initiative aimed to ensure that the school’s electrical system is in top condition, contributing to a brighter and safer campus for students and staff alike.
The activity was spearheaded by Dir. Evelyn C. Villareal, the District Director of Malungon, who led the SOCOTECO II team in inspecting and enhancing the school’s electrical infrastructure. Through this effort, the organization aims to mitigate potential electrical hazards and promote a secure environment for learning.
Aside from the technical work, Dir. Villareal extended her generosity by providing essential items to the students, including school supplies, slippers, and snacks. The gifts brought joy to the students and underscored SOCOTECO II’s commitment to supporting local communities beyond providing power.
This effort is part of SOCOTECO II's broader initiative to uplift educational institutions in Sarangani Province, ensuring that each school can offer a safe, bright, and welcoming atmosphere for students.
