General Santos City, August 28, 2024 — As part of the 15th National Electrification Awareness Month (NEAM), SOCOTECO II, in partnership with OSD Multi-purpose Cooperative and SOCOTECO II Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative, organized a successful Community Outreach and Feeding Program at Resettlement Village, Prk. 18, Nursery Lagao, General Santos City.
The program aimed to extend support and bring joy to the residents of the community. During the event, residents were provided with essential grocery items, a warm meal of arrozcaldo paired with pandesal, and kiddie loot bags for the children, spreading smiles and fostering a sense of community.
The activity not only highlighted the spirit of bayanihan but also reinforced SOCOTECO II's commitment to serving and uplifting the communities it operates in, especially during the NEAM celebration. The event was well-received, with the residents expressing their gratitude for the support and generosity extended by the cooperatives involved.
